According to the latest weather projections Hurricane Milton should hit Florida sometime tonight (Wednesday) as a Category 4 or 5 storm with the potential to cause devastating destruction. After the storm passes through central Florida it will head out east into the Atlantic.

According to App.com, “According to forecasters, Milton has potential to be a historical hurricane — one of the most damaging and costly hurricanes, with a variety of life-threatening dangers. All of this preceded by the devastating affects of Hurricane Helene last week, leaving at least 232 dead across 6 states, many still missing and many still displaced, without electricity, water and basic necessities.”

Prayer for Protection During Hurricane Season
"Lord Jesus Christ, our God in the flesh! As You saved Your apostles from perishing in a storm by calming wind and wave on Your command, so now keep us safe and sound during hurricane season. Grant us favorable and benign weather. Protect us from the unpredictable elements of nature. Spare us from storm, flood, fire, illness, injury, disaster and sudden death. Preserve us from all evil and harm, for we, though sinful, are nonetheless the work of Your hands — and You, together with Your Father who has no beginning and Your holy, good and life-giving Spirit, are our God, in whom we live, move and have our being, now and ever, and for ages and ages. Amen."
