We Now Know What's Replacing the Old Ruby Tuesday's in Lakewood

For years, the old Ruby Tuesdays restaurant on Rt. 70 that borders Brick and Lakewood border has been closed.

Just a few days ago, we started seeing some movement, and over the weekend, we finally noticed a promising sight. There is now a sign that shares the future plan for this space.

A brand new salon is ready to open in the area.

I was speaking to the new owner of [H] Haven Salon Studios. Jason and his wife own Haven Salon Studios in Eatontown and now opening in this new location. This salon is a little different than what we're familiar with.

This is considered a luxury salon suite. What does this mean? From their website:

We will provide the independent beauty professional with a brand-new, upscale workspace fully equipped with all the latest modern amenities. We offer fully furnished, move-in-ready private salon suites all for a great price.

What's a salon suite? It's a studio in a private space that allows independent stylists to own their own businesses without risking the expense of overhead and a long-term commitment.

There is a monthly fee to have your own luxury space. Hairstylists, barbers, and health and wellness experts have a private "mini" salon and these luxury areas look amazing from the pictures from their [H] Haven Salon Studios in Eatontown.

Also, in this luxury suite, you'll have beautiful cabinetry, shampoo and rinse sinks, countertops, and so much more.

This sounds awesome for someone who doesn't want to risk buying a location and all of the overhead but wants to open up their own business. I love this so much for the hairstylists. Possibly an excellent place for a "mini spa"?
