This was one year ago, I can't even believe it.

Things are not back to the way we knew it or back to "normal" since Covid-19. This drone video was shot a year ago in Ocean County.

Spring 2020, we had beautiful weather, the sun was shining - the boardwalks were empty, parking lots were empty, and everything was closed down except for the essentials.

This drone video was taken when restaurants were only take-out and there was no outdoor dining, yet. It's like a bad dream. Every day was the same, time was moving so slowly.

Here's an amazing drone video shot by Joe Valenti from Valenti Vision Films in Toms River, shot a year ago in Ocean County:

From Toms River, Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, parks, and everything else, just empty. Remember when Rt. 37 was empty and no one was driving on it. It's crazy to think it's been a year.

We had no idea what Covid-19 was. "Social distancing", what's that? Face coverings? We had no idea what was happening if we were going to get sick if someone in our family was going to get sick. It was a very scary time.

One thing we know for sure, the Healthcare Workers are our HEROES and we can never thank them enough.

A year later, most restaurants are open with social distancing, things are opening up slowly at less capacity, and the vaccines are here. I don't know about you but I never want to go back to where we were a year ago.

There are AVAILABLE appointments for the vaccine at Atlantic Care Atlantic City Mega Site at the Convention Center. This is where I went for the vaccine, it is organized and was great. If you don't mind driving to AC, this will be perfect for you.
