Wayfair Eyes New Locations After Store Success — NJ in the Mix?
Wayfair is a very successful home decor company. They pretty much handle everything for the home. Furniture, bedding and bath, rugs, decor, pillows, lighting, kitchen, appliances, pet products, holidays, etc. As you can see, they have your home covered.

Wayfair is Seeing Success with its Large-format Stores
In a recent article from Business at Home written by Warren Shoulberg discusses the success of the new Wayfair stores. "On the heels of celebrating the one-year anniversary of its first large-format store, a 150,000-square-foot Chicagoland flagship, Wayfair has announced its next two physical locations, which will open in rapid succession and signal a stepped-up effort by the company to bring stores into its business model."
Where are the New Large-Format Wayfair Stores Opening?
The next move for Wayfair appears to be two new "large-format" stores. One is to be located in the Atlanta area, and another to be located in New York City in Yonkers. "The next two Wayfair full-line stores—opening in Atlanta next year and then Yonkers (just north of Manhattan in Westchester County) in 2027—will take some of the learnings from the first location, the Chicago suburb of Wilmette."
So, where will Wayfair go next? Maybe they look to find a location between New York and Philadelphia? If so, then New Jersey would be a great option and location for them. There are currently no plans for a New Jersey location, to the best of my knowledge, but I do think Jersey would be a great market for them to look at.
