Wawa is the latest example of how our local community is giving back during these difficult times. 

NJ.com reports that the Wawa Foundation has given $119,500 in grants to charities that have been working to feed those in need during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. Their outreach will help local families, as a $7,500 grant went to Fulfill (The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties).

Grants were given to 27 organizations in total - with 5 in New Jersey. The 22 other organizations are located in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and Washington, D.C.
