Warble the National Anthem at First Energy Park

Attention budding singers: Your chance to star on one of Ocean County's biggest stages is about to arrive.

The Lakewood BlueClaws audition prospective singers March 26th at the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown. Applications are required to reserve a spot, and they'll be available starting March 4 at the BlueClaws offices in the stadium on New Hampshire Avenue, as well as at the Monmouth Mall Guest Services Desk. The application deadline is March 20.

Be prepared to belt it out a capella, or with acoustic instruments. Singers can apply individually or as groups. No decisions will be given the day of the auditions. Successful entrants will be notified at a later point.

It will be an extra-special year to stand and deliver on the infield grass. The BlueClaws host this 2013 South Atlantic League All-Star Game.
