Wait! Can You PAINT Your House Any Color You Want In New Jersey?
Put Down That Paint Brush!
"I see a red door And I want it painted black" Was Mick and Keith talking about painting their home? I don't think so, but it plays well with our topic. Can you paint your home any color you want in New Jersey, even black? Well this is an easy question to answer but there are some "grey areas" to discuss (no pun intended)

So the simple answer to our question is "yes" you can paint your home any color you want in New Jersey. Let's dig a little deeper though. You can paint your home polka dot, purple, pink, orange, black, striped, etc. BUT not if you live in some developments that have an HOA, a Home Owners Association. Some Home Owners Associations do restrict some decorating options when it comes to homes. According to Google AI Overview, "If your home is in a community with a homeowners association (HOA), you might need to get their approval before painting the exterior. If you don't get approval, the HOA could fine you or make you repaint using an approved color."
Also keep in mind the saying "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should", I am paraphrasing, but you get my meaning. Think of your neighbors before you pick an outrageous color to paint your home.
Do you have any houses in your neighborhood that have a "unique" color? Have you ever painted your house a "unique" color? let us know and share some pics if you have them, post your comments below. Next, we will discuss car colors lol is there and right or wrong color for cars? lol
