Drive-in movies have become so popular throughout communities in New Jersey.

Many towns have a concert in the park and this summer is a little different because of Covid-19, so towns throughout New Jersey had to come up with great ideas to get the community outside and still feel safe. Drive-in movies are so much fun and something we all loved as kids. Now our children are experiencing something we cherished when we were younger. We'd pile the family in our blue station wagon (I bet your family had a station wagon, too). We would all wear our pajamas, even Mom and Dad. It was such a wonderful time and I'll never forget my very first drive-in, "Bambi". The drive-in movie in our hometown is now a grocery store.

Berkeley Township is having their "sports night" Wednesday July 22nd, 2020 and they want YOU to vote for the movie. Drive-in movies in Berkeley Township is at Veterans Park, Central Boulevard in Bayville. Concert in the Park at Veterans was a "huge" night out with neighbors and friends, personally I love it.

It's time to vote for your favorite out of these movies for Berkeley Township, which one of these "sports" movies do you want to watch as part of their drive-in series. Here are your choices:

"Field of Dreams"

"A League of Their Own"

"Rudy"

"The Natural"

"Hoosiers"

I love "Rudy" but since it's summertime I think I would choose "Field of Dreams".

CLICK here to register or to call Berkeley Recreation for more information. This becomes incredibly busy at Veterans Park, registration is a must.

Have fun.
