Any aspiring artist that has a chance to work with Yvonne should feel blessed! ***REMEMBER YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AN ARTIST TO VOLUNTEER***
St. Luke's R.C. Church on Old Freehold Rd. in Toms River, is hosting the Girl Scout Cadette Silver Award Project by one of their teen parishioners, Sophie Regenye, whose project is sponsored by Hope Sheds Light of Toms River.
Sophie needs adult and teen volunteers to help her make about 100 glass mosaic leaves for her 6 foot x 13 foot glass mosaic mural.
The mural project is meant to bring the community together as a reminder to families struggling with mental health and addiction that RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE and that the many forms of art such as painting, drawing, singing, dancing, acting, music, pottery, photography and many more can be very healing when integrated into traditional therapy/treatment programs.
