**UPDATE:When is the Downtown Toms River Hotel Coming Down

It's been a while since we've heard anything. AND, now we finally hear something about when it is coming down or at least the approval comes this week.

**Here's the update thanks to the patch.com.

Tonight's (May 28th, 2019) council meeting the agenda is for the approval for demolition the hotel, finally. The demolition contract comes a year after the town's purchase of the hotel. Hopefully we'll get some answers tonight after the town council meeting and we'll let you know of a date. CLICK HERE to read more!

I was excited and still am to see what will happen to this location. We were all excited when the town took over the Red Roof Inn Downtown Toms River, and now we're patiently waiting to see what happens. For a while, I saw a lot of people working around the hotel and I thought they were going to knock it down. I haven't seen any construction workers at the hotel in a while.

Have you heard anything? When is the hotel coming down, is that still the plan for Downtown Toms River?
