Teen Accused of Starting NJ Wildfire Will Be Released From Jail

In the latest news concerning the giant wildfire in Ocean County, the teen accused, Joseph Kling (19), will be released from jail.

 

According to a recent Patch article, "The 19-year-old from Waretown accused of causing the 15,300-acre Jones Road Wildfire will be released from jail, a judge ruled Monday."

 

In addition, the article added, "Joseph Kling, 19, will remain on home detention with electronic monitoring after he was deemed to not be a flight risk, according to NJ.com."

In addition, "Kling will also have to stay inside his home unless approved to leave and has to stay out of the forest, the Press of Atlantic City reported. He must also undergo a mental health evaluation."
