New Jersey Forest Fire Service remains on the scene of a wildfire burning in Ocean & Lacey Townships, Ocean County.
- 8,500 acres are involved in the fire
- 10% containment (as per last update 10:55 pm)
- 1,320 structures threatened along Bryant Road and Wells Mills Road, - Rt 532
- 3,000 RESIDENTS EVACUATED
- Rt 532 (Wells Mills Road) From Rt 72 and the GSP
- Bryant Road is closed from Wells Mills Road (Rt 532) and Rt 539
- Jones Road is closed between Route 532 and Bryant Road

New Jersey Environmental Protection Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23 at Coyle Field Air Base, 1052 Route 72, Chatsworth, Burlington County, to provide a status update on the Jones Road Wildfire burning in Ocean & Lacey Townships, Ocean County.
