This Underrated Jersey Shore Beach Town Is One of My Favorites
I know, I know… so many people who go to this Jersey Shore beach town want me not to mention it.
But I have to say it: Spring Lake is one of the cutest little beach towns right here at the Jersey Shore.
This picturesque coastal town is known for its tranquil beaches, charming historic architecture, soft sand and beautiful Victorian houses. And according to Only In Your State, this little Monmouth County town is one of the most underrated in New Jersey and has the nickname “Jewel of the Jersey Shore.”
What Jersey Shore Town Is One Of The Most Underrated?
It’s Spring Lake!
Just south of Asbury Park, Spring Lake is adorable, peaceful and always a great afternoon at the beach. The atmosphere in this Jersey Shore town is just perfect to me.
When I was younger, my aunt and uncle had a friend who lived in Spring Lake, and we always loved going there. It was always the most fun. How could this little town be one of the most underrated towns?
Maybe because it’s a hidden gem of the Jersey Shore.
Spring Lake has beautiful soft sand, a quiet beach, a quaint downtown and those gorgeous Victorian houses that make you want to slow down and take it all in. I love riding my bike through this beautiful little Monmouth County beach town.
Asbury Park and Belmar are close by, but Spring Lake, Sea Girt and Ocean Grove all have that quieter Jersey Shore feeling.
And when it comes to Spring Lake Beach, I have to agree with Only In Your State that it is one of the most underrated beaches in New Jersey.
It’s never crowded, the sand is soft and fluffy, and Spring Lake has always reminded me of family.
It’s a family-friendly town that puts a smile on my face.
