Two Important Recalls that all New Jerseyans Should Know About
It seems like more and more recalls have been on the items we buy, lately.
Safety is the first thing we think of when we buy food or products. Especially, when it comes to my family.
It's a possibility that you missed these recalls from last week. According to nj.com, these are two important recalls that you might have missed last week.
The first recall of the week was on automobiles. Do you drive one of these cars?
*Recall #1 - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced over 850,000 recalls this past week for multiple models. Toyota, Tesla, Ford and Maserati were on these recalls. There are recalls on several items with these cars from seat belts, to power steering, and more. Please check with your dealer to get these issues fixed on your car.
*Recall #2 - This is a voluntary recall from Ascent Consumer Products Inc., SinuCleanse Soft Tip Squeeze Bottle Nasal Wash System, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This product is sold at Walmart, Walgreens and Amazon.
If you have any questions about these recalls, please contact the place you bought it from and they should have the information for you.
If you're not familiar with a recall or not sure what to do. This is from the US Food and Drug Administration: "A recall is a method of removing or correcting products that are in violation of laws administered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Recall is a voluntary action that takes place because manufacturers and distributors carry out their responsibility to protect the public health and well-being from products that present a risk of injury or gross deception or are otherwise defective."
