Tuesday night stabbing in Asbury Park under investigation

Monmouth County investigators are combing for clues in the aftermath of a stabbing on Fourth Avenue in Asbury Park last night around 9:15 pm, MC Prosecutors Office Spokesman Chris Swendeman told WOBM News.

The 35-year old victim who lives in Asbury Park was brought to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries by the Asbury Park Fire Department but remains in critical condition.

A joint investigation between the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office and Asbury Park Police continues this morning.
