Personally, I like flying from Atlantic City Airport, it's smaller and is quicker to catch a flight.

TSA Bans Popular Item From Checked Bags At New Jersey Airports

We already know that the TSA screen every piece of luggage boarding the plane. This includes both your carry-on and your checked bags.

And, of course we need our phones and smartphones for our trip. They are essential for our trips. From the phone to the boarding passes and money for paying for food at the airport,  I have ten thousand things in my hand when they're asking for my license going through the TSA check.

There are charging ports usually around the airport, especially needed if you have a layover.

This might be a little different for you, but DO NOT PACK YOUR RECHARGEABLE POWER BANK in your CHECKED BAGS. If your suitcase is being checked and they find one of these rechargeable power banks, they will pull it and throw it away. These are NOT allowed in CHECKED BAGS, especially because many of them contain a lithium battery.

According to the TSA’s website. The Federal Aviation Administration explains: "All lithium ion batteries are capable of overheating and undergoing a process called thermal runaway. Thermal runaway can occur without warning as a result of various factors, including if the battery is damaged, overheated, exposed to water, overcharged, or improperly packed."
