There are around 20 Trader Joe's locations across New Jersey right now, scattered all over the state.

What Is The Latest Recall From Trader Joe's?

According to reports, nearly 47 million pounds of food are now part of an ongoing recall, including products sold at Trader Joe's stores across New Jersey. Health officials say the recall was issued over concerns the items may be contaminated with small pieces of glass.

According to Patch, "The recall was expanded on March 16 to include more than 33.6 million additional pounds of chicken and pork fried rice, ramen and shu mai dumplings, according to the FDA. Among the Trader Joe's items included in the recall is the brand's popular chicken fried rice."

Trader Joe's started back in the late ’60s when Joe Coulombe opened the first store in California with a simple idea: to offer different, affordable foods in a fun, laid-back setting. It got bought by a German company in the ’70s, but honestly, the vibe stayed the same.

Now? It’s one of those places people actually like going to. You run in for one thing…and somehow walk out with five. Happens every time, right?

We always enjoy a trip to Trader Joe's. They have a unique blend of products, and I do enjoy looking around and grabbing a few "different" items we don't see everywhere, and I like their overall store to shop in.
