We're always talking about businesses we'd love to see open at the Jersey Shore, and I found something I'd like to add to the list!

Over the weekend, I took my friend Alyssa and her husband Matt to TopGolf in Mt. Laurel, and it was so much fun!  If you've never been to TopGolf, it's an indoor-outdoor driving range, but you don't need any actual golfing experience to play (otherwise I would not be writing this right now!)

Here's a photo (a screenshot of a video, forgive the quality) of the impressive course:

While you're playing, you can order food and drinks (which is the best part).  And there are different versions of the game to play.  My friends and I played the signature version of the game, which is just trying to hit the golf ball into the colored targets, and we also tried Angry Birds which was a lot of fun!  With Angry Birds, when you'd hit the ball, you could follow it along on a TV Screen, and it would show your ball "blowing up targets" and getting points.  I did surprisingly well in that game.

There are currently only 2 TopGolf locations in New Jersey.  That's it.  Neither are all that close to Ocean County either.  The location I went to in Mt. Laurel (Burlington County) is about an hour away, and there's also one in Edison (Middlesex County), which is a little less than an hour away.

It's also worth mentioning there is a TopGolf Swing Suite in iPlay America in Freehold, which is a virtual version of the game where you can still enjoy food and drink while you play.  But I really think Monmouth and Ocean Counties could also use the full TopGolf experience!
