I don’t know if this holds true in your household or at least it did at one point.  Friday nights were special.

Why?

Could it be as simple as the weekend was finally here?  There wasn’t school.  There wasn't work that you had to wake up for and rush into the very next day.  There were just two days upon us that we had zero responsibility.

When I was younger, the one thing we could always count on was going out for pizza.  Every Friday.  Yes, it was pizza night.

I do miss those days of going out on a Friday night, with friends or even younger than that, with the family and family friends.  Now, it's about getting that quality time in and gathering with a favorite pie.  No matter what day or night of the week.
