Toms River Police are continuing their investigation into a Friday afternoon accident involving a school bus and another vehicle.

Following their preliminary investigation into the accident, that occurred around 4:00 pm on Bamberry Drive, police believe that the driver of the school bus may have suffered a medical episode that led to them striking an occupied-parked vehicle as well as a utility pole.

The school bus driver and one person from the vehicle that was hit were taken to Community Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
