Toms River Police investigating robbery at Bank of America on Route 37
Toms River Police are combing for clues in the aftermath of a bank robbery that took place this morning around 10:15 am at the Bank of America on Route 37.
Police say the suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the teller stating he had a gun.
There was no weapon shown and the suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He is described as a white male, approximately 5'8-5'10, medium build, wearing a gray Polo hooded sweatshirt, gray & black gloves, tan baseball hat, sunglasses, camouflage bandana over his face, and carrying a leopard print bag.
The Toms River Police Detective Bureau, Ocean County CSI and Berkeley Police were on the scene to investigate the incident.
