Toms River Modell’s Is Among Locations Going Out Of Business

Another national retailer is throwing in the towel and will be permanently closing a pair of Jersey Shore stores, with Modell's announcing bankruptcy this week.

According to our sister station New Jersey 101.5, Modell's closure of over a dozen stores in February, "was not enough to avoid a bankruptcy filing."

The Modell's locations in both Brick and Lakewood closed previously, now the two remaining Jersey Shore locations, in Toms River and at the Monmouth Mall, will also cease operations.

The NJ 101.5 article says that liquidation sales will start at all of the remaining Modell's locations by tomorrow, Friday, March 13th.
