Toms River man threatens driver with a knife in Medford
A Toms River man is facing a number of charges after threatening a driver with a knife in a road rage incident in Medford on Saturday morning around 10:35 am.
The victim told Medford Police that a male driver got out of his vehicle, pulled out a knife and allegedly threatened to harm him.
Charles Cassidy III from the 300 block of Anthony Ave in Toms River was later identified as the driver with the knife.
Medford Detectives along with Toms River Police conducted a search warrant at Cassidy's residence and they found the weapon.
Cassidy was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Possession of a Weapon and Simple Assault.
Charles Cassidy was lodged in the Burlington County Jail pending a Superior Court Hearing.
