Ocean County Man Charged With Setting Fire To Planet Fitness In Toms River

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office released information concerning the case of a fire at Planet Fitness on Route 37 in Toms River on Sunday.

According to Patch, Joseph Mansueto, 38, of Berkeley Township, was charged with aggravated arson and criminal mischief in connection with the incident, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

Firefighters responded to the fire on Sunday at 3:40 am. The fire was reported to be contained to the outside of the building.

Mansueto was arrested on Monday and is being held at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River pending a detention hearing.
