Three Shore residents were running cocaine business in Seaside Heights hotel room
A two-month investigation into the distribution of cocaine in Seaside Heights has led to three arrests, announced Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.
An investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and Seaside Heights Police Department Detective Bureau identified a hotel room in the borough being used to store and distribute quantities of Cocaine.
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Seaside Heights executed a search warrant March 3 at the suspected hotel room.
As a result, Detectives seized approximately forty-five grams of Crack Cocaine, twenty folds of Heroin, a quantity of Marijuana and $1600 in cash.
Three people were then arrested as they were attempting to leave the hotel.
Quran Thomas, 40, of Manalapan, was charged with Possession of Cocaine in a Quantity Greater than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces with Intent to Distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(2); Possession of Cocaine in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); Possession of Heroin in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); and Possession of Marijuana in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(4).
Thomas was transported to the Seaside Heights Police station, where he was processed and released pending a future court date.
Bryan Burgos, 34, of Lakewood, was charged with Possession of Cocaine in a Quantity Greater than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces with Intent to Distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(2); Possession of Cocaine in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); Possession of Heroin in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); and Possession of Marijuana in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(4).
Burgos is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail on unrelated pending matters.
Akira Randle, 22, of Seaside Heights, was charged with Possession of Cocaine in a Quantity Greater than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces with Intent to Distribute in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(2); Possession of Cocaine in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); Possession of Heroin in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); and Possession of Marijuana in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-104-a(4).
Randle was transported to the Seaside Heights Police station, where she was processed and released pending a future court date.
