Two Manchester residents and a Brick man are all facing a long list of charges following their arrest for ties into the distribution of heroin and cocaine in Ocean County, announced Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.

He says a Manchester house and two motor vehicles were being used to store and distribute the drugs.

The culmination of a three-month investigation into illegal drug activity in Ocean County led Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor's Narcotics Strike Force and Manchester Police to conduct an investigation into the distribution of Cocaine and Heroin.

On Monday Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Detectives along with members of the Manchester Police Department executed at a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 571 and Route 70 in Manchester.

At the same time, Prosecutor’s Office Detectives and members of the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, along with officers from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit and the Manchester Police Department, executed a no knock search warrant at the Manchester residence.

As a result of both the motor vehicle stop and search warrant execution, law enforcement seized approximately 260 grams of Cocaine, 400 individual doses of Heroin, 20 grams of “Crack” Cocaine, and $5400.00 in cash.

Darnell Williams, 35, of Manchester, was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity Greater than Five Ounces in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(1); Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity Greater than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(2); Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity Less than One-Half Ounce in violation of N.J.S.A.2C:35-5b(3); Distribution of Cocaine in a Quantity Less than One-Half Ounce in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); three Counts of Possession of Cocaine in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); two Counts of Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity Less than One-Half Ounce in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); and two Counts of Possession of Heroin in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1).

Williams is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Nyesa Richardson, 33, also of Manchester, was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity Greater than Five Ounces in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(1); Possession of Cocaine in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity Less than One-Half Ounce in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); and Possession of Heroin in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1).

Richardson is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.

Daniel Crudup, 61, of Brick, was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity Greater than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(2); Possession of Cocaine in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1); Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute in a Quantity less than One-Half Ounce in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5b(3); and Possession of Heroin in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1).

Crudup was released on a summons pending a future court date.
