6:57 PM Friday Update: Toms River Police have released a new statement saying that the man pictured has been identified.

Toms River Police are investigating a theft that took place at St. Joseph's Parish and Pantry that took place between Sunday night January 13 and Monday morning January 14.

Police say there was a theft of gift cards and an undisclosed amount of cash taken from the church.

The incident took place sometime between 5:30 pm on Sunday night and 9:00 am on Monday morning.

Police are seeking your assistance in locating the man pictured because they believe he may have further information regarding this investigation.

The man is not currently listed as a suspect just someone police want to sit down and have a discussion with about the theft.
