This Road Is Horrible To Drive

First, let me say that this is an "opinion" piece and the opinion is mine. I decided to write this piece after driving this road this week, and after bouncing and smashing my way along this route, I wanted to share just how bad this roadway is. It's so bad a dirt road would probably be better than this obstacle course. I feel for drivers who have to use this route on a daily basis because it's just this bad.

Pictures don't do justice to just how bad this roadway is. I'm talking about Route 9 in Toms River from Indian Head Road to Lakewood. It's unbelievable how bumpy and unsettling this roadway is. I haven't driven this section of Route 9 in a while and it bounced me from start to finish. I'm sure my car never rattled the way it did while driving this section of Route 9 in Toms River. The roadway looks like a handmade quilt.

Now I know this roadway and its condition are not new for drivers, but it was new to me because I haven't driven this section of Route 9 in Toms River in quite a while, maybe that's why I avoid it? Well, whatever the case, I had to grab some pics and sound off because it's so bad on this road I saw people driving tanks! lol
