Melody is a beautiful tri-colored lady of about 4 years old that came to us from another shelter down south that didn't have much room for her. This Treeing Walker Coonhound sure is a southern belle with a sugary-sweet personality! Melody makes friends easily and has the perfect lovey-dovey hound dog happiness about her. She definitely has the hound dog nose....and loves to smell absolutely everything around her while out for a walk. She walks well on a leash and has had some training in her day. She sits nicely when asked, takes treats very gently, and even offers you a pawshake. She seems just fine with other dogs but has a prey drive about her, and needs a cat-free home. She loves people of all ages and would be howlin' happy to be a member of your family!
