Today is just one of those days in which I have nothing.

For at least one day I’m tired of talking about the return to school and the return to sports.  I’m tired of trying to make sense of our governor’s dictator-like response to opening restaurants for indoor dining by saying “we’re not there yet.”  I’m tired of anything to do with politics and protests.

I’m tired of celebrities who think they’re important when in truth most are fairly meaningless and they’ll find that out one day.  I mean who really cares about what the Kardashian clan is up to these days?

Mostly I’m tired of being tired.

So with said and with no rhyme or reason here is today’s Hometown View.  I came across a list of things you should never throw away in the garbage because they can harm people or the environment.

  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Fluorescent lightbulbs
  • Paint, Motor Oil & Lawn Chemicals
  • Smoke detectors
  • Mercury thermometers
  • Electronics like TV’s, smartphones and especially old laptops
  • Prescription drugs
  • Knives
  • Tires
  • Needles
  • Hair styling tools
  • Ink cartridges
  • Old plants

And last but not least mothballs which are considered a pesticide and should be disposed of where you could get rid of other household hazardous waste.

Now I’m tired of this and I’m sure you’re tired of me!
