Things that make you go hmm...I have never seen this before. But, it was delicious.

It was a little extra sweet. Let me tell you about something that happened to me yesterday. I was cutting into a juicy apple that I was looking forward to enjoying, but the most amazing thing appeared in the middle of it. The inside of the apple was red.👇 I was astonished because when I cut into an apple it's usually a glistening white. It threw me back a little. It smelled delicious. Have you ever seen this before, it was strange.

I did a little bit of research. The red inside of the apple is very good for you. An apple a day keeps the Dr. away, remember that?

Here's what I found out with a little help from the fabulous google. Did you know this: Apples have a tendency to bleed from the skin into the white part which is the flesh. When the red bleeds into the flesh it is very good for you. So, am I getting a double dose of goodness?

Here are some interesting facts about apples that you might not know:

*It takes about 36 apples to create one gallon of apple cider.

*It takes the energy of 50 leaves to produce one apple.

*Apples come in all kinds of sizes from the size of a cherry to the size of a grapefruit.

*Apples are members of the rose family.
