It may be the middle of winter in Ocean County, but the Lakewood BlueClaws have been busy during the offseason, scheduling more fireworks nights for the 2019 season than they've ever had before.

In a press release posted today, the team said that they'll continue the tradition of launching fireworks following every Friday home game during the season, as well as Saturday nights starting in June.

In addition, the team is also adding fireworks after the final out of Thursday games in June, July, and August.

That gives fans three straight nights of fireworks when the 'Claws are home at FirstEnergy Park this summer.

In total, there will be 26 post-game fireworks shows in 2019.

Also, it's never too early to start thinking about a summer job! The BlueClaws are holding a job fair at FirstEnergy Park on Saturday, January 19th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 2019 season kicks off in Lakewood with a 7-game homestand starting on Thursday, April 4th.
