The Amazing Annual Chatsworth Cranbury Festival is This Weekend
One of the Largest Fall Festivals in New Jersey
Autumn is a great time of year to get outdoors and enjoy fall festivals around the Garden State. We think of pumpkins, mums, Halloween, harvest, and even Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's about pumpkin spice, apple pie, and ghosts and goblins.

It's also a time of year to celebrate the Jersey "cranberries". New Jersey is one of the largest producers of cranberries in America and the little town of Chatsworth in Burlington County is one of the best spots to grow these tart little berries that so many folks love around the world.
According to Statista, Wisconsin (1), Massachusetts (2), and New Jersey (3) are the top cranberry producers in America. Chatsworth has always been a hot spot for cranberries with lots of "bogs" to grow.
So this weekend it is the annual Cranberry Festival and thousands will head out to Chatsworth for food, music, fun, and of course cranberries. We have gone to this annual autumn event many times over the years and it's always fun to stroll around and check out the crafters, eat or drink some kind of cranberry recipe, listen to local musicians, and enjoy the crisp autumn air.
If you need a unique Christmas gift you can probably find it at Cranberry Festival. If you need to stop up on cranberry jelly and/or cranberry wine, you can grab a case of it at the Chatsworth festival. Need fall decorations or a sports lover gift, yes you can find it at the Chatsworth Cranbury Festival. The leaves are turning color and it's a picturesque drive to the event as well through the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Yes, it's Halloween so be on the lookout for the Jersey Devil.
According to the event website, "The Annual Chatsworth Cranberry Festival is the third full weekend in October. In 2024, the Festival will be on Saturday, October 19th, and Sunday, October 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This is a Rain or Shine event! There are no rain dates! The Cranberry Festival is sponsored by the Festival Committee of Chatsworth, featuring a juried craft show with up to 150 vendors, up to 15 food vendors and live music."
