Rain Chances for Holiday Travelers in New Jersey
A Quick Look at New Jersey’s Holiday Weather Outlook
About 82 million people are expected to travel across the U.S. over the Thanksgiving holiday, making it one of the busiest travel periods of the year. Most travelers will be hitting the road, with tens of millions driving to visit family and friends, while several million more will pack airports for domestic flights.

Overall, the holiday rush is shaping up to be one of the largest in recent years as people take advantage of the long weekend to reunite and celebrate.
According to NJ.com, forecasters are saying "A storm system from the central and southern U.S. might bring some rain showers to the New Jersey region on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and some showers may linger into the early part of Thanksgiving Day."

Which day is the busiest Travel Day of Thanksgiving Weekend?
The busiest travel day of Thanksgiving weekend is usually the Sunday after the holiday, when most people head back home and airports see their heaviest crowds. On the roads, however, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving tends to bring the worst traffic as millions of travelers begin their trips at the same time. Together, those two days create the biggest travel crunch of the long weekend.
