It is difficult to pick a "nicest weather day" of the week, as we transition from periods of rain Monday to a few days of blustery weather.

"Unsettled" is still the name of the game for the next 72 hours, although New Jersey will see more dry hours than wet this weekend.

Unsettled weather is complicated weather, making it difficult to pinpoint when New Jersey might squeeze out some pleasant conditions through early next week.

The forecast through the upcoming weekend includes a daily chance for occasional rain, with high temperatures ranging from the 40s to the 80s.

No foolin' — Tuesday will be about 25 degrees cooler than Monday.

March going out like a lamb? Ha! A round of strong thunderstorms will produce gusty winds and heavy rain across New Jersey into Monday evening.

With warmer temperatures will come some unsettled weather, with a few shower chances plugged into New Jersey's forecast too.

A few hit-or-miss showers will dampen New Jersey on an almost daily basis.

Tuesday might be New Jersey's nicest weather day of the week, with occasional rounds of rain showers in the forecast through the rest of March.

NJ will continue to make improvements on the drought-o-meter through this last week of March thanks to rain — but there is no risk of severe or wintry weather.
