Suspect in 2011 Toms River bank robbery arrested in North Jersey
After nearly six years, the man suspected of holding up a Wells Fargo bank in Toms River in 2011 returns to face charges in Ocean County, following his Saturday arrest in North Bergen.
Daniel Sable, 27, was apprehended in a bank in the Hudson County community by agents of the U.S. Marshals Service in connection with a February 7 jewelry store heist in New York State, according to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle.
Sable is accused of swiping a pair of Rolex Watches with a combined value of nearly $60,000 from a shop in Brighton, NY.
The Toms River robbery reportedly took place less than two weeks after Sable was released from a prison in New York State.
Sable will undergo extradition proceedings after his Ocean County case is adjudicated.
Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
