Strip Malls Should Take Tips from Lacey Mall; Grand Openings Are Great To See in Ocean County

It was so nice to see the excitement with the Grand Opening of a store in Lacey Mall this past weekend in Lacey Township. Even with the empty stores, there maybe one or two compared to some strip malls in Ocean County.

I love seeing the community rally when businesses open. It was fun being there this weekend doing my weekend shopping at TJ Maxx.

With so many stores empty in Ocean County, in strip malls, or not it's just so sad. I can't remember when I've been in a strip mall and there are no empty stores. I know there are several in Bayville that are empty.

There was a grand opening of Pet Supplies Plus and there was so many people in that mall. The Lacey Mall is where the TJ Maxx is and the ShopRite.

The old Burger King is now a Popeye's. It looks like that's going to be opening soon right in front of the Lacey Mall.

Other stores in the Lacey Mall: Besides TJ Maxx and ShopRite, Van Holten's Chocolates, Dollar Tree, Firestone, Mattress Firm, UPS Store, Popeye's, Anytime Fitness, Best Tile. Pet Supplies Plus, Leslie's Pool. Dunkin is in front of strip mall, I do believe that's a part of it. Good luck to Pet Supplies Plus, awesome job Lacey Township.
