According to reports, an SUV crashed into a building, Hoffman's Ice Cream in Spring Lake Heights, causing the store to have to close temporarily over the weekend. Saturday, the incident occurred.

 

 

According to an article from NJ.com, "The incident happened at 5:24 p.m. when a 79-year-old motorist entered the parking lot believing the vehicle had been shifted into park."

 

 

 

 

Hoffman's was able to reopen on Sunday after officials inspected the building and confirmed it was safe and sound. There were no injuries reported to the staff or driver.
