
Drone Footage Of The March 21st Nor’easter In Ocean County
When I stepped foot outside this morning to a bright shining sun and a blinding white landscape here on the 3rd day of spring 2018, it was a no-brainer to launch Skycam 927, the WOBM drone, to get an overview of the storm's aftermath:
You can see the trees straining under the weight of the heavy, wet spring snow, and if you look closely you can see them giving in as the branches and snow tumble to the ground.
I actually would have liked to both get up higher and stay up longer, but as the drone software squawked repeated high wind warnings at me, I figured that it was best to take what I could get rather than having the 'copter become a useless hunk of metal!
As you certainly know by now, Ocean County had some of the highest snow totals in the whole state from this week's record breaking spring storm.
