Special Day for Ocean County’s Grandparents

The Sunday after Labor Day is when grandparents are honored each year.  To get ready for National Grandparents Day  in Ocean County, I'd like to devote this blog to those of you whose children have had children of their own.

Many of you grandparents are the go-to babysitters when your kids are at work.  Many of you have put aside your retirement hobbies and activities so you can be there for your grandkids.  I'm sure some of you help with your grandchildren's education and other expenses.  And I'll bet all of you have imparted some words of wisdom to the youngest members of your family.

So let's hear your best piece of advice that you've shared with your grandchildren?  And let's also hear what you like doing with your grandkids.  Is there a favorite place in Ocean County where you like to spend time together?
