South Toms River couple used Ocean County hotels, storage facility to stash cocaine
A South Toms River pair are sitting in the Ocean County Jail awaiting a detention hearing on a number of charges related to their illegal narcotics activity.

Manchester Police announced the arrests Sunday of Brikel Morrison, 29, and Anthony Wimbush, 31, following a multi-agency investigation that including their Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Strike Force, both of which were looking to trace the source of cocaine being dealt across the community.
Investigators learned that Wimbush and Morrison used several hotels in Ocean County as well as a storage facility to store and then distribute the cocaine.
Manchester NET Detectives obtained court-authorized search warrants for a hotel room, storage unit and vehicle which gave them the evidence to identify Wimbush and Morrison as the suspects.
The search warrant for the storage unit was executed by Detectives from the Manchester Township Police Department’s NET and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force.
Detectives later executed the search warrant for the hotel room, with the assistance of the Toms River Police Department’s Emergency Services Unit as well as their K-9 Unit.
Investigators seized 21 grams of cocaine in total along with Alprazolam tablets, both packaged for distribution and a digital scale containing CDS.
Morrison was in the hotel room where she was arrested and Wimbush later turned himself in to the Manchester Township Police Department.
Both are charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute more than one-half ounce of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Detectives from the Stafford Township Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit also assisted in the investigation.
