New Jersey residents alarmed by potent stench lingering in the air.
This has been a mystery for a while now in parts of New Jersey, a weird stench.
A stench from the dictionary - a strong and very unpleasant smell. There are several interesting smells in New Jersey.

There has been a weird smell in parts of south Jersey for the last couple of days and no one could figure it out. Local police departments were getting so many calls. The stench was so bad, parts of Pennsylvania were smelling it. Residents were smelling cat urine, according to nj.com.

What was the stench in New Jersey from?

I'm thinking that no one knows yet. Could it be mosquito spray? Maybe? It doesn't seem like anyone knows where this stench is coming from.
According from officials in Camden County from nj.com: “It is confirmed that the odor is traveling from Hammonton, Atlantic County. A short time ago officials conducted ‘mosquito spraying’ like we do in our area as well. Please know that although the odor is foul it is deemed safe at this time.”
But according to nj.com, there were no issues from the recent spray in Hammonton, an Altantic County Spokeswoman said in an email. There is another scheduled spray for Thursday (September 5th, 2024).
New Jersey residents were smelling different stenches from a chemical smell to a citrus smell and cat urine. The different smells are nuts. This is just crazy, where's the smell coming from?
