There was a moment today when we all thought, "well, maybe Toms River and to the north, won't see anything."  That was not the case.  The snow finally started making its way up towards central New Jersey, after a morning of seeing South Jersey get pummeled with winter conditions.

As we sat in a Winter Storm Warning for most of the morning, it was unclear what we were going to get from this storm.  It seemed like Toms River, and north was going to be left out of all the fun.  Most of the morning, south Ocean County, down into Atlantic County, started off early with snow and it continued for most of the day.

Snow totals so far in South Jersey, NJ:

According to the National Weather Service, Absecon in Atlantic County saw over a foot of snow, while parts of Cape May County saw just shy of one foot of snow.

Snow totals so far in Ocean County, NJ:

Barnegat had an impressive 9 inches of snow while towns like Toms River saw close to 2 to 2.5 inches of snow.

It was definitely an impressive day around the Jersey Shore for our first snow of the season and the first snow of 2022.  Now we want to see the snow in your area.

Did you get out and play?  Did you get the chance to build a snowman?  Did you just take photos of the snow from out your window because, yeah, it is too cold out there?

The photos that you share will be posted up and shared with our friends throughout the Jersey Shore.  You must own the copyright to the photo.
