Shortage of Blood at the Jersey Shore – Can You Help?

The Central Jersey Blood Center needs you!  Please donate blood.

Alyssa Drown, the marketing manager of Central Jersey Blood Center,

"Right now we are facing a frightening shortage of something that only people can supply.  Our local and national blood supplies are dangerously low.  No substitution exists for human blood; it cannot be manufactured."

All blood types are needed, especially negative-type red cells A-, B-, O-, and all-type platelet donations.

There are three blood donation centers in our area, Howell, Toms River, and Shrewsbury or at a mobile drive near you.

Toms River Donation Center:  1256 Indian Head Road & Rt. 9, Indian Head Shopping Center

Howell Donation Center:  4068 Rt. 9 South, Howell Plaza Shopping Center

Shrewsbury Donation Center:  494 Sycamore Avenue
