This bright and bouncy young man is Hachie, a beautiful akita that is a little over a year old and came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Hachie is not your typical akita in that he is not as aloof as most are. He is very puppyish and playful, and always wants to engage you by squeaking one of his giant toys at you. He is a loving and loyal friend and when he gets to know you, you're his buddy for life. Hachie is well behaved, well mannered, and has had lots of training. He sits instantly when asked and offers you a pawshake too. He does have some arthritis in his back legs that he will need supplements for indefinitely, but he is in good health otherwise. He will need a home with no children under 12 and one where he will get lots of playtime and exercise. Hachie will also need a home with no other dogs, but Hachie has so much love to give and will keep you entertained and having fun so you won't need much else in your life! This bright and bubbly boy is eager to meet that special someone that can give him the lifetime of happiness and wonderful home that he deserves. Check out his video:
