"We're actually going to be sitting on the site of where a lot of this film was made, so it will be kind of ironic to see it from that perspective," said Michael Schwartz, Hometown Heroes Founder and President.

The documentary is by cinematographer Cliff Charles, who also did the HBO Hurricane Katrina documentary "When The Levees Broke," with Director Spike Lee, according to Schwartz. The film features a number of shore-area residents, including Schwartz.

"We were featured in the documentary as just one of those charities helping and responding to the needs of Superstorm Sandy," said Schwartz.

Schwartz already got a sneak peak of the film last week and described it as "fantastic" and admitted he teared up a few times. "It definitely brings back a lot of memories and the stories are real. It really shows the people, the stories of the families that are dealing with this and what they're dealing with in insurance companies, fighting for money, fighting to rebuild and lift their homes and what they're dealing with with FEMA," he said.

Hometown Heroes plans to honor First Responders during the screening. Seating for the premiere will be on a first come first serve basis in front of the Saw Mill Cafe, near the corner of Stockton and Ocean Avenues. Bring your beach chairs and blankets. Doors open at 5:30 and the screening will start about 7 p.m..
