Earlier, I was scrolling Facebook, and I was in the group Barnegat Township Chatter. Someone asked, "is a sports bar coming to Barnegat 67?" And the comments flooded in!

If you're unfamiliar with Barnegat 67, it's a new shopping center that's also by an apartment complex in Barnegat. It's located at 770 Lighthouse Drive, off W Bay Ave. So far, they've got a Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness, Jersey Mike's, Dunkin', and other shops.

Some commenters said that they've seen signs for Pine Pub going up. I haven't driven past the area recently, and I don't see any results when I search for it online, so I can't confirm that. Someone else added that a huge liquor store was coming, but again, there was no evidence to support that.

Many of you voiced your opinions about what you'd like to see at the new shopping center. A White Castle, Dairy Queen, Steakhouse, bowling alley, and movie theater were other suggestions.

Are you excited for a rumored new pub to open up in Barnegat? Or would you prefer to see something else? Also, if you have any pictures of the signs going up for the rumored pub, or pictures of construction, submit them to us on our 92.7 WOBM app!
