If you read my article from last week, what would’ve been the St. Patrick’s Day parade today, in Seaside was replaced by a flag-raising and it was FUN! I was there to witness and enjoy the bagpipe bands marching down my favorite boardwalk!!

Today and tomorrow, March 13th and 14th:

Laurita Winery in New Egypt is hosting a St. Patty’s Day celebration starting at 11:30 with Irish food, music and fun. Reservations must be made on their website as this event is inside. Cost is $11.00 per person, but that fee is credited toward your wine purchase!

Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City is holding an Irish weekend from 12-6pm in their outside garden, with authentic Irish bands, food and vendors.

Sunday, March 14th at River Rock in Brick from 4-9 get your Irish on with the Shamrock & Thistle pipes and drums band, Irish food and drink specials and entertainment by O’Brue Crew!

Wednesday, March 17th PJ Sweeny’s will be opening at 8am, yes, folks, AM and will be hosting the Ballyhaunis Irish band starting at 2pm.

Saturday, March 20th, the Shamrock and Thistle Pipe Bank will be playing at Battle River Brewery on Main Street in downtown Toms River from 2-5pm.

On Sunday, March 21st, the Ocean County Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh are hosting an Irish Brunch at the Manahawkin Elks at 11am. Eggs, Bangers, Bacon, Potatoes, Irish Soda Bread and a cash bar is available for Guinness, Bloody Mary’s and more! Tickets cost $15.00 at the door!

Saturday, March 27th, the Ocean County St. Patrick’s Day parade committee is partnering with the Toms River Elks for an Irish festival starting at 2pm. Cost is $20.00 per person and includes corn beef and cabbage dinner and a refresher and the piper and Ballyhaunis band.
