Riverside Police seize illegal weapons and drugs in Wednesday bust
Riverside Police make a size-able drug bust that also featured weapons when they arrested 24-year old Timothy Werley of the township.
Following an investigation into possible drug dealing at a home on Shamouti Drive in the Orangecrest neighborhood, police executed a search warrant and several firearms including two illegal assault weapons along with LSD, cocaine, psilocybin "shrooms", thousands of Xanax pills, Norco and Tramadol pills and a copious amount of fentanyl.
During the search investigators found that the suspect's 7-year-old son was staying at the house and had access to the narcotics and firearms.
The County of Riverside Child Protective Services was contacted and eventually removed the child from this potentially dangerous situation.
Werley faces a string of charges and was jailed at the Robert Presley Detention Center for possession of illegal narcotics for sales, weapons violations, an outstanding felony warrant, and child endangerment.
Anyone with information that can help with this investigation is asked to call Detective Asbury at (951) 353-5217.
