Retired Ravitz Family Markets President Succumbs To COVID-19

There's more sad news today, as the family of Steve Ravitz announce his passing due to COVID-19 complications.

Ravitz was the head of Ravitz Family Markets, which owns and operates five south Jersey ShopRite locations, for 40 years.

According to NJ.com, he retired last year and was 73-years-old at the time of his Tuesday night passing.

The NJ.com story goes on to highlight Ravitz's philanthropy as the head of the Ravitz Family Foundation, which gave millions to groups focused on helping south Jersey kids and families.
